*There could be a possibility that these enemies are based on [[Whispy Woods]], one of the most iconic bosses of the Kirby franchise. There are 2 reasons for this. One: role; since they appear midway and at the end of Weird Woods, like a boss/miniboss. Two: appearance; due to the fact that they're large trees, but distinctly wicked-looking, unlike their predecessor.

Saucer Kirby encounters a Wicked Willow.

Wicked Willow is a type of enemy that debuted in Kirby's Epic Yarn, exclusive to the Weird Woods stage. As suggested by their name, they are trees with blue-purple leaves, covered in pink and purple vines, with sharp teeth in the trunk. They also harbor multi-Template:Coloured spores that become spiny on release, which they use as an attack.

Wicked Willows stop Kirby in his tracks, and prevent him from continuing the stage until they are defeated. Kirby can defeat Wicked Willows only in his Saucer form, since he needs to suck the spores up in order to use his electrical shock attack. They need to be shocked twice in order for Kirby to pass.

Trivia

  • There could be a possibility that these enemies are based on Whispy Woods, one of the most iconic bosses of the Kirby franchise. Apart from appearing midway and at the end of Weird Woods, like a Mid-Boss or boss, they are also large, sentient trees just like Whispy, but distinctly wicked-looking, unlike the latter.
