It serves as a somewhat tougher variation of [[Puppet Waddle Dee]], as it is slightly harder to defeat and slightly more sluggish. As with Puppet Waddle Dee, it lacks proper feet and is controlled by three Waddle Dees underneath. It can be destroyed normally to throw out the Waddle Dees inside, or can be quickly defeated if [[Kirby]] swallows it with [[Inhale|Super Inhale]]. It will simply attempt to make contact with Kirby, thereby dealing [[damage]] to them both (though the Armor Waddle Dee's high [[health|durability]] makes this less of a concern for it).
