*This game was the first to have an on-screen HUD break the fourth wall under specific circumstances: when Hypernova Kirby inhales a boss, its health bar "peels" off the screen before being inhaled alongside it.

*The Latin script logo for this game features the Kirby series logo in yellow with a blue outline, with the yellow part referencing the Hypernova ability, and said colors were used for Latin script logos of later mainline Kirby games. These two colors are the same used for the Japanese logos of the mainline games since Kirby Super Star (with the exception of Kirby: Squeak Squad; Kirby & The Amazing Mirror uses the same colors, but fittingly reversed).

*Kirby: Triple Deluxe often straight-out mirrors Kirby:Planet Robobot in level design, storyline, or music.
**Both games have 3D Warp Stars, have almost exactly the same goal game, and have essentially the exact same layout for the first part of 6-1. Furthermore, the true antagonist of both games are only revealed in the final level, corrupted by objects from previous Kirby games, and have sidekicks that end up giving Kirby the Last Battle Ability of their respective games.
