Dimensional rifts also appear throughout cutscenes, with much rounder ones being created by the Lor Starcutter to travel to Planet Popstar and Halcandra. During his betrayal of Kirby and friends, Magolor under the effects of the Master Crown also creates a dimensional rift to escape into Another Dimension while everyone also pursues through the same rift with Landia's help. In The True Arena, dimensional rifts also appear to transport Kirby into the last five (six in Deluxe) battles. Carryable items like the Maxim Tomato box cannot be carried into this rift due to the lack of a support platform below the rift, resulting in it being too high for Kirby and friends to jump into. These rifts do not remove Kirby's current ability.
