• Asking about my OCs (original characters) or personal projects (Cyon of Gaia, Captain Toad: Prism Star Quest, Super Cat Wars, etc.) should be done instead via Discord or via asks on my Tumblr page. As a side note: this is not a fanon wiki.

Please refrain from writing all caps in edit summaries. Most of the time, it looks like you're screaming at the whoever reads your message and is very disrespectful, and it could be simply replaced with "fixed typo" or something along the lines.

Also since I'm already messaging you, I would like you to teach you italicizing. You can do it by typing two apostrophes (these ones -> ') on each side of word, which should look like this (Code: ''this''). Remember not confuse them with smart apostrophes (’), or "quotation marks".

One last thing, a question, out of curiosity - do you check Special:RecentChanges and if yes, how often? Superbound (talk) 12:52, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

Patroller

Greetings, EleCyon. The staff of WiKirby has deemed you worthy of a Patroller position. Should you accept, this position comes with the following new powers and responsibilities:

• The ability to "patrol" edits from non-Autopatrolled users on the wiki, to ensure they are in good faith.
• The ability to roll back edits made in bad faith (spam or vandalism).
• Permission to mark pages and files as "Good" (or to revoke Good status using the template).

I'm all up for it, especially the ability to mark pages and files as Good. This is a neat thing to have so I can immediately mark my direct captures from Switch games as Good. Though I got you something to take into consideration: since my timezone is UTC+8 in the Philippines, I'm on the other side of the world so I won't be able to check on edits as soon as possible. Cyon of Gaia

Hi, EleCyon! I wanted to get to you directly about this, since I became aware of it today. I think User:EleCyon/Cyon of Gaia violates our user account policy. I understand you've tried to make it WiKirby-related by making one of the characters a wiki editor, but I believe too much of it is fan fiction to justifiably qualify as a user page on this wiki. It would be preferable if you moved this information somewhere else, such as a fanon wiki or a Google document or something like that. We want wiki editors to focus on mainspace and keep personal projects largely wiki-related, so I will be setting about on deleting the page soon. Consider this a heads-up so you can get things in order and move it off of WiKirby before it's deleted. Thanks! StarPunch (talk) 17:10, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

About the redirects

Hi! I just read your message. You see, the main reason I made a bunch of redirects to some bosses is because I saw that their title card descriptions are in bold. For example, when I typed in "His Royal Nemesis" it redirected me to the "King Dedede" article. That is when the thought struck me to make alternative redirects for the Star Allie's and Forgotten Land's bosses with title cards. It's OK if you comply of not. Ah I see. As a side note, I think it's highly recommended to discuss this with other users before making such changes by the way. Personally I felt the redirects aren't necessary in my eyes, especially as past bosses before Kirby Star Allies (and also Team Kirby Clash Deluxe if we count spinoffs) do not have any splash screen text. If I might interject, I don't think it's necessary to "step in" on things like this unless it's actually causing issues on pages or with users. New redirects are not exactly an issue if they make sense. They don't take up a lot of space, and they don't artificially inflate our page count. Generally speaking, I'd like users to feel free to make the changes they feel are appropriate without them feeling like they need to "discuss" everything first. It's only when those changes clash with policy that we really need to step in. I think what Jude did here was perfectly fine, and didn't warrant a talk page notice. --Samwell (talk) 01:21, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
