Dash Attack is Kirby's main attack in Kirby: Canvas Curse, and is activated by touching him with the stylus. When activated, Kirby can dash into the enemy in question, and defeat them. As with any defeatable enemy, they will give Kirby their ability if they have one once defeated. However, it will not work against indestructible enemies and enemies which can harm Kirby if striked like Gordos.

Dash Jump

Dash Jump is played every time Kirby reaches the end of a level, and features the Dash Attack. In this mini-game, Kirby needs to use Dash Attack to gain speed and use the drawable lines to make ramps. The goal is to get as far as possible in order to collect more Stars, which can result in a 1-Up when the number reaches one-hundred. Once Kirby reaches the end of the the zone where he can gain speed, wherever he lands in the drop zone will tell the player how many stars he will receive. The drop zone is labeled for every one-hundred foot, with Kirby receiving ten stars for every one hundred he goes from the drop-off point. This zone is also made up of other, color coded zones.
