“ | READY... SET... EAT! | ” | — Kirby & The Amazing Mirror |
Speed Eaters is one of the Sub-Games available for immediate play in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. Speed Eaters pits four Kirbys (pink, yellow, red, green) against one another in a reaction based feeding frenzy. The objective of this sub-game is simply to be the first Kirby to get full.
Gameplay
This sub-game is simple enough to be played with just one button, which prompts Kirby to swallow his food whole. A number of usually apples wait beneath the silver covered tray. As soon as it is uncovered, and the food revealed, the Kirbys will be gasping to pull it in. If anyone starts to inhale before the platter cover is lifted, they will get an X over their head and not be able to compete until the next round. Swallowing bombs has the same effect, plus it darkens the competitor and knocks him down.
When there is a tie, the food is split among the Kirbys. A tie to getting full is also possible and each Kirby will be labeled as WINNERS.
