Melody Switches are a special variety of switch that appear in Kirby Mass Attack. Several Melody Switches are usually found near a door, which will open once the switches are activated. To activate a switch, a Kirby must be tossed at it head-on with sufficient force. Melody Switches must be hit in correct order, with the next switch in the pattern glowing yellow. If the wrong switch is hit or the right switch is not hit in time, the switches will reset.
Melody Switches are hard objects; that is to say, they cannot be passed through, and can act as a crushing hazard if a Kirby is caught between one and a moving wall.
