'''Kracko''' is a recurring [[boss]] in the [[Kirby (series)|''Kirby'' series]]. He resembles a large floating cloud, but he has a single eyeball in his center and small spikes on his fringes. His attacks vary between games, but his most common abilities include shooting lightning bolts, firing beams from his eye, and generating various minions from his body (usually [[Waddle Doo]]s or [[Li'l Kracko]]s). He also has a weaker, less mature form called [[Kracko Jr.]] who usually transforms into Kracko after being defeated. His name is derived from "crack", an onomatopoeia used for the sound of lightning striking.

Kracko's attacks vary depending on the game, but this table describes the recurring attacks that he uses.

Kracko is the opponent in stage 11. He is the third-to-last enemy, and only [[Meta Knight]] and [[King Dedede]] are fought after Kracko himself is. This is the only game in the series where Kracko talks directly to Kirby. It's also notably the first time Kracko is depicted with his current coloring, being blue on the top and pink on the bottom, rather than pure white. Kracko's equivalent in the ''Puyo Puyo'' franchise is Minotauros.

Kracko is a [[Mid-Boss]] in ''[[Kirby's Epic Yarn]]'' and its [[Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn|3DS version]], being encountered twice in [[Cloud Palace]]. The first time he chases Kirby for a short distance and the second time is when Kracko is actually fought by Kirby's [[Star Shooter]], using his [[Li'l Kracko]] and lightning-based attacks. A relative of Kracko is also faced as a mid-boss in [[Outer Rings]], fittingly as [[Space Kracko]].

In ''[[Kirby: Triple Deluxe]]'', Kracko appears as the boss of Level 3, [[Old Odyssey]] and is fought again in Stage 2 of [[Royal Road]]. Oddly, in this game, Kracko is referred to using neuter pronouns. He appears after being summoned (inadvertently) by [[Taranza]] in a last-ditch effort to escape Kirby. Kracko is souped up and possesses many new attacks not seen in previous iterations.

Kracko also has a DX version, which is encountered in [[Dededetour!]] and [[The True Arena]]. Instead of being granted power by [[Taranza]], Kracko DX appears immediately after Dedede arrives in his territory. His cloud body is now green, and he has fewer but thicker spikes which are striped in dramatic shades of red and blue, including two right above his eye.

He will attack the fighting Kirbys and can be defeated. His moves are mostly the same as [[#Kirby: Triple Deluxe|those of his ''Kirby: Triple Deluxe'' incarnation]], though stripped down to accommodate a single-plane arena.

His moves are mostly the same as [[#Kirby:_Triple_Deluxe|those of his ''Kirby: Triple Deluxe'' incarnation]], though stripped down to accommodate a single-plane arena. In ''Team Kirby Clash Deluxe'', Kracko serves as the first Ordeal, and defeating him unlocks the Ruins. In ''Super Kirby Clash'', Kracko does not show up in an Ordeal, but can also be found paired up with [[Gigant Edge]] to form Team Sword & Storm. A more powerful variant of Kracko that appears in the tenth Ordeal called [[Venom Kracko]] also appears.
