"Dark Castle"[conjectural title] is the stage theme of the Dark Castle level in Kirby's Dream Land 2. It was later remixed for Kirby: Planet Robobot. The original song was composed by Tadashi Ikegami.[1]

Game appearancesEdit

Kirby explores a dark castle.

Kirby's Dream Land 2Edit

The theme first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 2, serving as Dark Castle's background music.

Kirby's Dream Collection Special EditionEdit

In Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, "Dark Castle" plays when selecting Kirby's Dream Land 2 in the Kirby's History mode.

Kirby: Planet RobobotEdit

An arrangement of "Dark Castle" is used as the background music in the third stage of Rhythm Route, and also plays in the rest areas before the sixth, seventh, and eight battles in The True Arena. This remix is titled "Neon Laboratory", and was arranged by Hirokazu Ando. It can also be heard as Track 045 in the game's Jukebox.

Kirby's Dream BuffetEdit

The original version of the theme reappears in Kirby's Dream Buffet, named "Kirby's Dream Land 2: Memorial Song 2" in-game. It is unlocked for potential use in races and Free Rolling upon reaching Gourmet Rank 117. This game is the first to confirm that the theme was composed by Tadashi Ikegami.
