Sometimes on his trek to find his cake in Kirby: Squeak Squad, Kirby will find Ability Scrolls inside random treasure chests. These scrolls allow each of Kirby's ability to either have a new skill or improve one of his old ones.

Ability	Scroll location	Function
Animal	Nature Notch-1	Allows Kirby to use a powerful move while in the air that goes left, right, or down.
Beam	Nature Notch-5	Allows beam to have a spark which randomly travels through the level, going up steel wires.
Bomb	Secret Sea-3	Bomb can now be merged with Ice or Spark to have the abilities Ice Bomb or Thunder Bomb.
Bubble	Jam Jungle-1	Allows Kirby to make where the array of bubbles are going either farther up or down.
Cupid	Ice Island-5	Kirby can now shoot three arrows at once.
Cutter	Nature Notch-4	Makes Cutter boomerang bigger and more powerful.
Fighter	Ice Island-3	Kirby shoots a bigger attack when holding the B Button so that it is fully charged.
Fire	Prism Plains-3	Allows fire breath to be breathed up or down.
Hammer	Vocal Volcano-2	If B Button is held for a certain amount of time, the hammer will grow twice as big, and more powerful.
Hi-Jump	Cushy Cloud-4	Gives the Hi-Jump ability more power.
Ice	Jam Jungle-EX	Allows Kirby to change the direction of the breath from straight to up or down.
Laser	Jam Jungle-5	If B button is held, the laser will be thicker and more powerful.
Magic	Secret Sea-4	If the B Button is held, a spinner will appear, and whatever it lands on, Kirby will get, losing Magic in the process.
Metal	Jam Jungle-3	Allows Kirby to turn into a metal ball, which can only move if transformed into on a hill, where it will roll down.
Ninja	Vocal Volcano-3	If B Button is held, Kirby will gain energy. If let go on land, he will use a fiery attack. If on water, he will use an aquatic attack.
Parasol	Vocal Volcano-1	If B Button is held, the sideways Parasol will be more powerful than it was before getting the scroll.
Sleep	Vocal Volcano-EX	Sleep will now heal some of Kirby's damage, instead of doing nothing.
Spark	Cushy Cloud-1	Allows spark to have a spark which randomly travels through the level, going up steel wires.
Sword	Ice Island-1	Sword can be merged with Fire, Ice, or Spark to create Fire Sword, Ice Sword, or Thunder Sword.
Throw	Secret Sea-1	Kirby throws enemies with more power, doing more damage to other enemies.
Tornado	Cushy Cloud-5	Gives tornado traits of fire or ice if used in fire or ice.
U.F.O.	Gamble Galaxy-1	A spark will surround Kirby, hurting any enemy near him.
Wheel	Nature Notch-3	Allows the wheel to have fiery, icy, or electrical traits if it goes through a fire patch, ice, or sparks.
