King Golem is the Boss of the second area of Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Moonlight Mansion. He is found in the south-easternmost room in the area, guarding one of the Mirror Shards. His appearance resembles a large stone tower, albeit with a face, mustache and hands. He does not attack Kirby directly. Instead, he spits Golems at him, who proceed to attack. He also slams on the ground with his hands, causing rocks to fall, along with the occasional Gordo. Kirby can inhale any of these, and spit them back at King Golem to damage him. King Golem can also be attacked with projectiles acquired from Copy Abilities, such as the Cutter, one of the three Abilities offered in the room immediately before the Boss room. When he is defeated, he relinquishes the second Mirror Shard. Afterwards, Kirby can return and defeat him again to receive a Maxim Tomato.
Trivia
- King Golem is the Mirror World counterpart to Whispy Woods and is similar in some ways, including his status as the first boss in the game and the way he is fought, but, King Golem is rock, while Whispy is wood. After defeating either of them, they can both be seen crying.
