Regarding your edits in general

Greetings, SirIncompetent. I'm writing to you because over the month and a half you've been here, most of your edits have been undone for various reasons, including your most recent edits. I don't see you as a bad faith actor, which is why I've come to tell you a few things you could do to help improve this situation.

Firstly, have you had a look at our help and policy pages? You can find a quick list of them on this page. I don't expect you to memorize everything there, but there is a lot of handy information about how we like to handle specific subjects here on WiKirby, and I think you would benefit from looking over certain pages, particularly those under the "Writing" category.

Second, did you know we have a Discord server? If you have Discord, you can join it by clicking this link. Most of the admin team is on the server, and you'll be able to chat with us in real time if you have any questions or concerns about editing. Failing that, you can also contact us using the talk pages, either one of our user talk pages, or on a talk page for a specific article.

I greatly apologize for the trouble I have caused on the wiki, and the very unnecessary and terrible edits I have made. I have come to the conclusion that as my name suggests, I am incompetent as of now. I have reread the articles on writing, editing, and other policies, and I have realized that the "edits" I have made were unnecessary, and went against Wikirby's guidelines. I apologize for this, and next time I edit an article I will be more cautious of what I am writing, if it is necessary, and if it follows the wiki's rules.

I regret making some of those edits, as they just added misinformation to the Wiki. If I am caught doing something similar, it will be perfectly fine with me if I lose privileges, get banned for an extended period of time, or just get my account deleted. Don't be too hard on yourself. As I said, I didn't see you as someone acting in bad faith, and we've had much worse situations with users than you. As I said before, you should consider joining the Discord so that not only can you get help from us, but it will be a chance for you to become more involved in the community.
