spam?

I can't translate latin with Google. So my theory is that spammers won't answer talk pages with straight answers, but more spam, if at all. Soooo.....what in Dedede's name did you post? Axiomist (talk) 18:21, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

EmmaWatson

The user known as EmmaWaston is a spammer who also spammed Metroid Wiki with links to Russian websites. Even after going under different names, all were blocked in the end. Although Emma only uploaded an image and edited his/her talk page, this record could result in a block nonetheless. There is little chance Emma will actually make constructive edits on the wiki, and likely only registered to spam. It is up to Axiomist to make the ban, but if Emma makes an obvious spam attack, a ban will be certain. —Austin ^{(NIWA Operative)} 01:56, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I don't expect this user to contribute, but at the first spam post, We'll slam her/him/it with a ban, delete the userpage, and if another similar name shows up, it goes on the blacklist. I just don't plan to be paranoid and preemptively ban people, but if say we all used check user, and matched the IPs, then the case would be stronger than similar names.
