Template:Game Kirby Fighters Deluxe, known as カービィファイターズZ (Kābī Faitāzu Zetto) in Japan, is a game for the Nintendo 3DS. It is based off of the Kirby Fighters sub-game in Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

It was released on Template:Date on the Japanese eShop, along with Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe. It was later released on Template:Date internationally.

Differences from Kirby Fighters

New stages

Changes to single player mode

  • There are now battles in which Kirby fights with a partner.
  • The player fights Kracko as a boss.
  • The final battle, rather than being against Shadow Kirby, is instead a battle in which Kirby fights multiple small King Dededes, with the number varying depending on the difficulty chosen.

Miscellaneous

  • There are now Team Battles (2 vs 2 and 1 vs 3). A special item appears that allows Kirbys, provided that they are on the same team, to stack on top of each other to shoot a large beam of energy, which deals a large sum of damage. Larger amounts of Kirbys result in a more powerful beam.
  • Kirbys can heal teammates after they re-gain health.
  • Kirby can upgrade his abilities to become stronger, and he adopts a new costume.
  • Some levels have bosses that teams can defeat.

Trivia

  • The part where Kirby fights against 64 tiny Dededes may be a reference to the Super Smash Bros. series' Multi-Man Melee/Brawl/Smash.
    • This is further referenced as in Melee's Adventure Mode, as the player must face many Kirbys with the Hats of all 26 playable characters.
  • The souped-up hammer that King Dedede uses in the final fight is officially known as the "Star Rod Hammer Dedede Custom".
