With the Ice ability equipped, Kirby may create Chilly as a [[helper]]. Kirby's visual appearance changes by turning him a light blue color and he wears a hat full of ice crystals. ''Kirby Super Star'' was the first game to give Ice Kirby an expanded moveset, combining the attacks of Freeze into the ability as well as adding other tricks such as the twirling "Ice Sprinkle" and the close-up "Ice Suction" attack.
