The Fairy Queen is a minor character from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, acting as the sovereign ruler of Ripple Star. She is a rather tall figure, by fairy standards, with black hair and long pigtails, a slim golden crown, and a pair of rather large round glasses. Though her wings are quite large, the Fairy Queen is never actually seen flying about.

In Kirby 64, the Fairy Queen sends Ribbon off with the great crystal as Dark Matter takes control of Ripple Star. From there, the queen is possessed by Dark Matter, though this is not known to the heroes. In the false ending, this fact is made apparent to realMe when the Fairy Queen looks menacingly at Ribbon after the heroes leave - but of all the Crystal Shards were collected, the reformed crystal zaps the queen and purges Dark Matter from her.

At the true end of the game, the Fairy Queen and Ribbon award the heroes with crystal medals for defeating Dark Matter.
