| Some Uniclods appear in the ''[[Kirby: Big Trouble in Patch Land!]]'' volume of the [[Kirby (novel series)|''Kirby'' novel series]]. One appears briefly in chapter 2, and attacks [[Prince Fluff]] while he and [[Kirby (novel character)|Kirby]] are walking around in Grass Land. Just before it can attack Fluff, however, Kirby uses his [[Yarn Whip]] for the first time, tearing apart the monster. Later on, in the final battle against [[Yin-Yarn]], he knits four Uniclods to attack Kirby, but Kirby uses his Yarn Whip to grab them and throw them back as yarn balls at Yin-Yarn.
