| | Pix is a highly motile boss that uses all of the space and platforms provided, in the hopes of besting [[Kirby]] at the end of the Rock Star realm. The battle begins slowly, with only one of the energy diamonds - the diamond will produce an arm-like extention, which is used in tandem with various spinning, see-saw movements to injure Kirby. A second diamond joins the battle after some time, as does the last, all of which inhibit similar {{behavior}}. Kirby will not be able to injure the boss until after it retreats below the main platform to regroup, once all three diamonds are present. At this point, they will resume the battle, appearing alongside {{colour}}ed atom clusters that seem to generate out of the platform itself. Kirby must fire a certain atom cluster towards the corresponding diamond in order to injure it; this must be done to all three diamonds to ensure the boss' defeat. | The fight begins as Kirby rides a large circular elevator up a shaft within the pyramid. As the elevator rises, Pix reveals itself piece-by-piece, each time performing an attack with its extendable blades as it moves around the elevator platform. Each pattern is summarized as follows:

| Once the elevator reaches the top, Pix changes its attack patterns and becomes vulnerable to retaliation from Kirby. At regular intervals, six objects warp into the battlefield on the platform which resemble molecular diagrams; two of each match one of the Pix diamond's color. Kirby can inhale these and spit them back at Pix to damage it. If he matches the color of the projectile with that of the diamond, he will deal double damage. Each diamond of Pix has separate [[Stamina|HP]], and will be disabled if hit by two matching molecules, or by four non-matching ones. Pix can also be attacked using [[Copy Ability|Copy Abilities]].
