It will however often attempt to jump out of the water at [[Kirby]], where it will then flop about helplessly on land, just like a Blipper would. Mamatee has a fairly high amount of [[health]], and as such takes a few hits to take out. Essentially, it serves the same role in the water as [[Grandy]] does on land.

This image may be taken to suggest that Mamatees are the mothers of Blippers, though it does not conclusively account for all Mamatees.
