Blippers' Mother[edit]
This Mother's Day illustration from the official Kirby twitter seems to imply that Mamanti is the mother of the Blipper enemies (and by extension that Mamanti is female), should this be added to the article? Kaialone (talk) 09:42, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- I suspect this is not meant to imply that Mamantis are all mothers of Blippers, perhaps instead that they are merely mature versions of Blippers, and the one in that particular image just happens to be the mother of the two Blippers. They've had similar set-ups with Grandys and Waddle Dees in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Still, it could make an interesting trivia point. --Fubaka (talk) 18:41, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- If it were to be mentioned as a trivia point, would a wording along the lines of "this could imply that Mamanti are either matured Blippers, or perhaps play a maternal role to them" be alright? I think it's also possible that Mamanti could essentially be "adoptive" mothers of Blippers, as their relationship mirrors that of real-life manta rays and the smaller fish they protect due to their symbiotic lifestyle. Obviously I wouldn't want to put too much speculation into the article though. ~~+
