'''Galacta Knight''' is a powerful recurring [[Boss]] in the ''[[Kirby (series)|Kirby]]'' series. He greatly resembles [[Meta Knight]], even being the same size, but sports key visual differences. His body is magenta in color, and the eyes behind his mask are red. His mask has a pointed cross-shaped visor on it instead of a horizontal slit. Unlike Meta Knight's bat wings, Galacta Knight has feathered wings. He fights with a magenta lance and a shield with a four-pointed star on it, much like the design of his helmet.

Galacta Knight makes his debut as a surprise boss in this game. In [[Meta Knightmare Ultra]], [[ Meta Knight]] meets the [[Galactic NOVA]], who grants him one wish. Meta Knight wishes to fight the strongest warrior in the galaxy so that he may become stronger, so NOVA unlocks Galacta Knight, who had been sealed away because of his immense power.  His attack patterns are similar to Meta Knight's, but he makes liberal use of energy attacks as well.

He is also battled by [[Kirby]] in [[The True Arena]].

Galacta Knight appears in [[The True Arena]], as a surprise boss before the fight with [[Magolor]] EX. He is generally considered to be the hardest boss in that game, and appears nowhere else in it. He fights in two phases, and has a habit of making lightning shoot up from the ground, as well as using lots of laser sword projectiles that bounce off the ground.

Galacta Knight (Here referred to as '''Galacta Knight Returns''') is summoned as the final opponent for Meta Knight to face in [[Meta Knightmare Returns]]. He immediately thanks his summoner, [[Star Dream]], by slicing it along its base and causing it to topple over. Meta Knight must fight and defeat him again, all the while dealing with the magenta knight's new and powerful arsenal. Once defeated, Galacta Knight is re-sealed, and sent back from whence he came.

He is also faced by Kirby in [[The True Arena]].

==Attack Style==

Galacta Knight's battle tactics are very reminiscent of Meta Knight's, only his are more powerful with a wider arsenal. With his lance, he will do a down thrust from overhead, plunge it into the ground to release a shock wave, do a rapid stab with considerable reach, and fly around the battlefield with it outstretched. He also has a liking for tornadoes like Meta Knight. He will go to the edge of the screen and unleash a huge tornado, not unlike Mach Tornado. He will also wrap himself in a tornado and bounce around the stage. He can also fire energy waves from his shield. Also like Meta Knight, he will retreat from battle and force his opponent to fight regular enemies. He will also go to the {{center}} of the screen and fire a laser 360 degrees around him. One last attack of his is going to the {{center}} of the screen and calling forth pillars of fire.
