Copy Abilities are enhancements Kirby gains from swallowing enemies, or in the case of Canvas Curse, simply hitting enemies, activating Copy Essence Deluxes, or Copy Pedestals. Copy Abilities are a defining aspect of the Kirby franchise. The ability gained will match that of the enemy or item swallowed. For example, if Kirby swallows Sir Kibble, then he transforms to a similarly dressed character and gains the Cutter power.
