:::::No, like mentioned in the guidelines I linked, our rule is specifically about the FANDOM Kirby wiki. SmashWiki is affiliated with us by NIWA, so there is no problem listing it as a source (at least not in present). In the case of that image specifically, we can trace back its source too because we know it's a gamerip of the spirit's image (basically from the game files). The thing is that the FANDOM Kirby wiki has lots and lots of unsourced artwork that we can rarely trace back the source to anywhere (and if we can, good, we should source as that instead). The only reason why we do not allow images from the FANDOM wiki is that it has unofficial artwork at times as well, and many images are of bad quality. Finally, we really don't want to rely on the other Kirby wiki: WiKirby has recently reached a point where we prefer to do things our own way and we can do it. And lastly, like I mentioned, the new source you linked in that image had the image on a different file format in quality. If you ever came across a case in which you found a better source for an image but the actual image quality/size/format/etc does not fit, you should reupload that image actually from that source instead of just updating the image link.

Regarding images from the Kirby FANDOM wiki[edit]

Hi Grim kim. I kindly ask you to stop uploading images from the Kirby FANDOM wiki. They are not a valid source for images. Thank you. - Gigi (talkedits) 18:04, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Yes, but please be aware of our sourcing standards as linked. You can see how other artwork is sourcered to get an idea, if you want. - Gigi (talkedits) 18:09, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Heads up: be careful replacing sources from existing images. A source is that, where the image itself was found. A spirit png from Smash Bros. Ultimate has a drastically different quality from a scan of the Kirby Art & Style artbook. Even if they are the same image at core, you wouldn't be able to get the quality of the Smash spirit from that Kirby Art & Style scan you listed. Does that make sense? - Gigi (talkedits) 18:33, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
It does, but it's from a wiki. Not from a FANDOM Wiki but from a wiki nonetheless. Does that not count? Grim kim (talk) 19:07, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
No, like mentioned in the guidelines I linked, our rule is specifically about the FANDOM Kirby wiki.
