When Kirby lands on an island and the intro of the island is shown, the island's music is heard. However, if he has landed on the island before on the ongoing game session, or he exits a level normally or through "select", a slower, less vivid music will be heard. == Statistics about the Mini Bosses ==

Worlds 1,2 and 3 have one mini boss each. World 4 has a mini boss in each door. The only other world to have this feature is World 7. I am counting all mini boss encounters, not only the mandatory ones.  World 5 has three mini bosses, and World 6 has 6 mini bosses, however, Master Green is fought twice. This is the only world to have the same mini boss twice. Totally, Mr Frosty is fought 2 times, Efreeti, Blocky, Waiu and Captain Stitch are fought 3 times, Jumpershoot 4 times and Master Green 5 times. == Colouring ==

When you are playing on a Super Game Boy, each World has its own palette. From the first island to the last : Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Red, Orange, Violet. Each time you clear a stage you play a small mini game that requires you to press A. This mini game has the palette of the world you are in. However, in Dark Castle (World 7), the last door is always guarded by a mini boss and its room is coloured after the world palette the door number matches, f.e. door 1 matches world 1 and is yellow, etc. The following mini game is coloured after that palette. Only in door 7 the mini game is coloured violet.
Interestingly enough, door 2, represents world 2 (Big Forest) and is coloured green, and is guarded by Master Green.
However the battle with King Dedede has a magenta palette. The battle with Dark Matter has a gray cyan palette. == Powers ==

Each world's rainbow piece is sealed by blocks that break only after a certain power is used on them. From World 1 to 6 we have : Parasol, Spike, Stone, Burning (Fire), Spark and Cutter. Island 7 hasn't got a direct barrier. World 6 requires two additional powers to clear the way prior to the piece room (ice and spark - but ice is required to proceed through the level anyway). World 7 requires 5 powers to clear the way (burning, stone, spike, ice and cutter). Spark may be used to obtain the correct power order. So, in door 7 of world 7, you need 6 powers (5 if you know the order), all except parasol, which Jumpershoot, the level's guardian represents. == Possible World 8 ==

There is a chance that there was going to be an 8th Island, that was scrapped during development. There is a picture of Acro, labelled "Orca" in a dark room in World 5, door 5, so it is possible that Acro was in the game. Behind the Orca painting, which is a door, there is a room that doesn't match the Red Canyon's theme. It is a tropical beach. The battle with King Dedede has a different colour palette than the Dark Castle's, and in World 4, the room containing the star piece has two altars. There is a possibility that the broom ability was the 8th power, as we can observe in Kirby's Dream Land 3. The theme of that world, could be aquatic, to match Acro, or a lava world, which is a common video game theme, that this video game lacks. A lava world could have the Cloud Park hub, as it is obviously a volcano. Lava areas are present in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Haboki could have been in the game as the 8th mini boss. Blob is absent from Dream Land 3, however she is very similar in design with Chuchu. Efreeti, Waiu and Blocky have attacks that give you either one or two stars to throw at them. All the others give you one star at a time. == Dark Matter's auto hit and Pop Star's appearance ==

When Dark Matter in his second form descends to the lowest possible point, the scrolling stops, and you can see Kirby's home planet (the Pop Star) from above. By the way, this representation of Pop Star, as a regular Earth-like planet, has never been used since ; the Pop Star is always represented as a gigantic five point yellow star, after Kirby's Dream Land 3. When there, Dark Matter has the ability to auto hit Kirby any time he likes, without touching him, or send him any projectiles. Practically this is a phase the player is not supposed to reach, as beating Dark Matter at this point is difficult, especially if he has a lot of HP left. This may be the most powerful incarnation of Dark Matter ever. == Boss analysis ==

Some of the bosses may give you the opportunity of a double star projectile. With Nruff and Nelly & Mr Shine and Mr Bright (especially when Mr Bright attacks you) this is very likely to happen. With King Dedede it is possible too. With Sweet Stuff (especially if Kirby has Kine), Whispy Woods and  Kracko's second form it is possible, but not very likely to happen. With Ice Dragon this is also possible. With Kracko's first form it is impossible. With Dark Matter's first form it is possible to have three projectiles every time, if you attack from the correct position. With Dark Matter's second form, it is possible to have two (or possibly more) projectiles. Each projectile has different effect on every boss, for example a double star deal greater damage to Whispy Woods than to King Dedede.
Some bosses have phases. Dark Matter has two, Kracko has two also, Whispy Woods has two also, but he doesn't refill his HP, like Kracko or Dark Matter. Mr Shine & Mr Bright and King Dedede switch phases in a circular manner. Nruff & Nelly and Sweet Stuff have alternating phases related to the enemies appearing on screen, but these are not real phases. Ice Dragon has no phases at all.
Unlike other bosses or mini-bosses, the star shaped projectiles of Mr Shine and Mr Bright can be swallowed to obtain the cutter ability (Mr Shine) or the burning ability (Mr Bright).
Considering that all bosses or mini bosses, even Dark Matter can be damaged if attacked with a power, and Captain Stitch cannot, it is possible to estimate that Captain Stitch is the strongest boss. However, the Gordo enemy is ever more resistant ; in fact it is indestructible. There is also the case of Kracko (first form) and Nruff that can leave the room for some seconds.
If we consider "Load Kibble" a typo of "Lord Kibble" we may see a society with nobles. We have Lord Kibble, Master Pengy, Captain Stitch, Master Green and King Dedede. :The main issue with that is that it's a bit more difficult to get SGB screenshots, since Nintendo's official emulators only use GB or GBC palettes. That said, if you have a way of grabbing SGB screenshots, then feel free to replace them, since I agree they're the most optimal way to present this game. I am a Japanese reader.Therefore, due to my poor English, I am unable to edit it myself and report it here.
The description of the second item, "Kirby is also shown in (or as) a tank in early concept art allegedly brainstorming 113 different Copy Abilities (although noting that they would really want about seven all in all, as in the final game). "is incorrect.This concept art says "こんどのカービィはいろんなもんにのれる!!" and this article misidentifies "いろ" as "113".
