Master Hand as a Mid-Boss
Master Hand is a Mid-Boss in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, originally a boss from the Super Smash Bros. series of games. He appears as a large disembodied white glove, capable of performing physical and magical attacks which are mostly lifted from his appearances in his home series. When defeated, Master Hand provides Kirby with the Smash ability if inhaled and swallowed.

Master Hand has several moves from his appearance in the Super Smash Bros. series, including finger bullets, grabbing, sweeping, and swiping. There are a handful of differences, however. One example is that his "bullets" are made of fire and are considerably slower than in the actual Smash games. If Kirby inhales one of these, he will get the Burning ability. Another difference is his throw after he grabs Kirby. Instead of throwing him downwards or sideways like he does in Super Smash Bros. Melee, he smashes his fist to the ground.

Locations
Master Hand may be found as a mid-boss in the following rooms:
*Rainbow Route - Goal 1
*Radish Ruins - Room 18
*Candy Constellation - Room 14

Other appearances
Master Hand also appears as a Stone sculpture in Kirby: Planet Robobot and as a sticker in that game. He also appears as a Character Treat in Kirby's Dream Buffet (the hands that appear in gameplay are the Server Hands, not Master Hand & Crazy Hand).

Trivia
*The glove that appears in the Game Over menu is referred internally in the data as "Master Hand" ever since Kirby's Return to Dream Land. However, this glove has never been named outside of the internal data. The Server Hands in Kirby's Dream Buffet are also both named "Master Hand" internally.
