:::Personally, I'd support the move. Ending it with "dy" just sounds wrong because it is so inconsistent with other Waddle Dee names. That's fine if HAL intended it to be that way...but I really don't think they did. Internal data names do not prove this as they are not intended as official names, so it doesn't make sense to artificially create an inconsistency for that reason--though it might help if someone who has access to Triple Deluxe's internal data if other Waddle Dee variants end in "dy" as well. Both "Grandy" and "Grand Dee" are equally valid romanizations and the latter gives a much clearer idea of what this enemy actually is. -{{User:YoshiFlutterJump/sig}} 03:38, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

:Going to agree with Superbound; I mentioned before that this would be a better case of using the internal data to stay consistent with the translation of the name. One thing to note is that, as AdieuLain mentioned, "Grand Dee" in Japanese would be "Guran''do''di", so it's closer to "Grandy" when translated as well ("Grandee" would also work). "Grand Dee" makes more sense as a name, but it's also more speculative, versus the "Grandy" data that confirms how the developers intended to write it in English. (Note that other internal data uses the officially translated names where possible, i.e. they're "Waddle Dee" and not "Wadorudi".) So I '''oppose''' the move.
