==Grandy to Grand Dee - Proposal (January 6, 2021)==
It has come to my senses that Grandy is not the proper name for this article, as it is based off internal data as mentioned in the "Names in other languages" section. Grand Dee, in my opinion, makes more sense since it is already a derivative of the usual Waddle Dee, and calling it "Grandy" breaks the tradition of having most Waddle Dee variants end with Dee.

For reference, ワドルディ (Wadorudi) is Waddle Dee's Japanese name, and it would be weird if I called it something like "Waddledy", and not Waddle Dee. Second, I oppose the move, as it's not based of internal data, but it's already translated from Japanese. <tt>グランディ</tt>, as stated in article and by LTL just above us, it can be translated to "Grand Dee" or "Grandy", and since the game data uses the latter one, it can be used as reference for the name. It doesn't matter (at least for me) if it breaks the pattern with other enemies, if HAL made it like that, we just have to live with it. I think reading [[WiKirby talk:Naming policy#Regarding recent change to naming priority|this discussion]] can help get where I got my general idea from. Also, in your reasonings, you say ''"What do <b>you</b> think?"''. This "you" baffles me a lot. Are you asking this question to specific person? That's fine if HAL intended it to be that way...but I really don't think they did. Internal data names do not prove this as they are not intended as official names, so it doesn't make sense to artificially create an inconsistency for that reason--though it might help if someone who has access to Triple Deluxe's internal data if other Waddle Dee variants end in "dy" as well. One thing to note is that, as AdieuLain mentioned, "Grand Dee" in Japanese would be "Guran''do''di", so it's closer to "Grandy" when translated as well ("Grandee" would also work). "Grand Dee" makes more sense as a name, but it's also more speculative, versus the "Grandy" data that confirms how the developers intended to write it in English. So I '''oppose''' the move.
