Adeleine is not native to Popstar, and instead visits the planet to study art. Her homeworld is [[List of mysteries|left unspecified]]. She bears a strong resemblance to [[Ado]], both in appearance and mannerisms, but whether or not they are the same character is left ambiguous.
Adeleine, although like the other Kirby 64 characters, does not talk, but from what is seen of her, she is very peppy and upbeat, and always seems to be happy even when times are tough. Using her easel as a generation point, Dark Matter, noticing the shard, jumps Adeleine and embodies her; at this point, Kirby runs onto the screen, only to see Adeleine painting up various enemies for Kirby to fight. After defeating the final come-to-life painting, which is a scale drawing of Dark Matter itself, the evil forces escape her body, yielding Kirby, Waddle Dee, and [[Ribbon]] the Crystal Shard she had been holding. From this point on, Adeleine accompanies the group in finding the remainder of the Crystal Shards hidden across the realm.
