"The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is a fast and energetic heavy metal piece in D minor. It starts with a sustained A minor chord. The pace is set by a cymbal, and the main part begins. The bassline is remarkably similar to "VS. Meta Knight". There is no single defined melody, and all diversity comes from the modification of the rhythmical pattern. At first, there are rapid sixteenth notes on the second beat, then followed by a moderate pace, which in turn changes to a more frantic one. Halfway through the track, a solo electric guitar has a bright descending improvisational passage. After this, the rhythmical phrases become significantly shorter, gaining new melodic properties. For some time afterwards, there is no noticeable change in pitch. Then, the original rhythmical pattern returns, and the track loops.

Super Kirby Clash
This version can be found as Track 110 in Return to Dream Lands Sound Test.
Two distinct versions of the theme play in Super Kirby Clash. The first sounds very similar to earlier themes, though with a few differences in the instrumentation. This version plays during both of the normal "Aeon Hero" encounters.

The second version plays during the battles against Aeon Hero (Light) and (Dark). This version features additional orchestral instruments, breakbeat drums, and has a slightly altered structure, with a choir supporting the melody. Both of these versions are arranged by Kiyoshi Hazemoto.
Kirby: Planet Robobot
Galacta Knight returns again as the final boss of Meta Knightmare Returns in Kirby: Planet Robobot. He is also fought by Kirby in The True Arena.

Other appearances
In Galacta Knight's first phase, Grand Doomer's boss battle theme from Kirby's Return to Dream Land is used.
"The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is featured at the end of the bonus track ボスバトルメドレー/エレクトロニックver. (Boss Battle Medley / Electronic Ver.) from the Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe Original Soundtrack, which was arranged by Jun Ishikawa.

In The Sound of Kirby Café 2, the theme is incorporated into track 5, titled "Coffee Shop of Twilight and Starry Skies". This version, a medley with "My Friend and the Sunset", is arranged by Megumi Ohara and features a gentler, jazzy style with flute and piano.
In Galacta Knight's second phase, his theme finally plays, but now remixed in an even more techno style. It's also arranged by Jun Ishikawa and titled 時巡る銀河最強の戦士 (The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy That Patrols the Time) in the Japanese soundtrack.

The theme was performed live at the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival as part of The Knights' Revenge Medley, along with "Revenge of Meta Knight: Title", "VS. Meta Knight", "Dark Meta Knight", and "Morpho Knight".
This version can be found as Track 153 in Planet Robobots Sound Test.

*Galacta Knight's Japanese Boss Caption on his Kirby Star Allies splash screen, 時巡る戦士 ("Time-Crossing Warrior"), is a reference to the Kirby: Planet Robobot remix's Japanese title.

*Kirby and the Forgotten Land features a drum track in the Colosseum's waiting room for the Meta Knight Cup, "Waiting Room", that plays a similar pattern of snares to the first section of instrumentation of "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy".
Galacta Knight appears at the end of Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! in Kirby Star Allies to serve as the final boss. However, before he gets the chance, a strange butterfly lands on his lance and absorbs him, creating a new swordsman called Morpho Knight. As a result, Galacta Knight is never fought in Star Allies.

Names in other languages
