It attacks by moving slowly toward [[Kirby]] and hitting him by contact, or by holding still and blocking off a walkway. When defeated normally, the costume explodes and the three Waddle Dees go flying, returning to regular enemies who will then proceed to waddle about as usual once they collect themselves, although it can be swallowed whole using [[Inhale|Super Inhale]]. A robotic, more formidable (albeit slower) variation of Puppet Waddle Dee is the [[Armor Waddle Dee]], which a variant of acts as a replacement for Puppet Waddle Dee in [[Halcandra]].
