Some Dress-Up Masks also depict alternate versions of characters (usually unlocked by reaching certain [[Mission (Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe)|completed mission thresholds]] in [[Merry Magoland]]). Additionally, some masks can replace the wearer's voice with the voice clips and sounds associated with the depicted character. Although the masks are mostly cosmetic, the [[Kine]] and [[Mine]] masks give their wearer the [[Water Gun|Enhanced Water Gun]] move from the [[Water]] copy ability.

Dress-Up Masks can be worn by any character in most of the game's modes, except for [[Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler]].
