In this stage, it is guarding the throne room, presumably under orders from [[Yin-Yarn]] to do so. Big Waddle Dee cannot be unraveled using the [[Yarn Whip]], but it can be defeated using the [[Weight]] or by tossing a [[Yarn Ball]] at it.
