Marx Soul

Marx Soul is a boss that appears exclusively in The True Arena in Kirby Super Star Ultra, being the game's final boss. He is a stronger, ghostified version of Marx, mutated by the power of the destroyed Galactic NOVA, and this version of Marx can be specified as a grotesque monstrosity. He fights the same as his un-mutated form, but his attacks are much stronger, and he moves in a faster, more chaotic manner. His defense is also greatly higher than Marx's. He can now make paint blobs that give the Paint Ability. He also is purple instead of lavender. His wings are different and he now has a necklace that appears to be made of parts from the Galactic NOVA. His laugh is also different. After finishing off the demonic beast, he lets out a bloodcurdling screech, slowly splits in half and explodes, destroying the entire arena in the process.
Battle Style
This table describes all of the demonic boss' attacks. Most are stronger, faster, and/or longer ranged versions of the original Marx's attacks, but some are unique to him.

Trivia
- In Milky Way Wishes, if the player looks closely a split second before Marx transforms into his first powered-up form, he can be seen looking extremely similar to Marx Soul. This is present even in the original Kirby Super Star.
- When Marx Soul splits in half to do his Black Hole attack and paint attacks, it resembles Mirror Kirby doing his dash attack 'Mirror Body'. This is the same with original Marx's Black Hole attack.
- Marx Soul is the first Soul Boss in Kirby main-series, the first one in the whole series being Drawcia Soul from Kirby: Canvas Curse which is a spin-off. Since then, the Soul Bosses in Kirby series would usually have similar attack patterns.
