Spark-Cutter is a Power Combo in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards that combines the Spark and Cutter abilities. By performing the ability, Kirby wields a yellow, double-bladed laser sword which either resembles a lightsaber from the Star Wars franchise or the MS-14S sword from Mobile Suit Gundam. The laser sword also makes a similar humming noise to a lightsaber. Spark-Cutter is one of the few abilities that does not change Kirby's physical appearance.

To use this ability, Kirby must first take out the sword. He can then swing it about in a flashy twirl to attack enemies in front and behind him, as well as above to a certain extent. He will also harm enemies if he turns around near them while the sword is out. Kirby cannot hover with the sword in hand, so he must duck to put it away.
