Needlous is an enemy who has only appeared in three games to date. It first appeared in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, as the replacement for Togezo from Kirby's Adventure, and later appeared in Canvas Curse, Kirby's Return to Dream Land and New Challenge Stages. In all games in which it appeared, Needlous gives out the Needle Copy Ability when it is inhaled and swallowed by Kirby.

Characteristics

Needlous has a fuzzy caterpillar-like body with yellow and black stripes, similar in some respect to Capiller. It has eight spikes coming out from various places at the top of its body, three on each side of its waste, and two on its back. Needlous attacks by curling itself in a ball and rolling toward Kirby. When it is not attacking, it only moves slowly across the ground.
