Nintendo is one of the world's largest video game companies, having started in other industries such as the playing card industry[1]. Nintendo has released many video game systems, with the most recent system being the hybrid Nintendo Switch in 2017. Starting from a playing card industry founded by Fusajiro Yamauchi in 1889; to a video game company in 1977, Nintendo has become a globally successful business, making many of the world's most highly sold and recognizable consoles. In the modern console market, Nintendo's systems are often less powerful in terms of processing power than competing machines, but Nintendo focuses instead on accessibility and caters more to the younger demographics.
