It moves slowly and gracefully through the [[water (environment)|water]], often seen performing lazy loops between the foreground and background. It will however often attempt to jump out of the water at [[Kirby]], where it will then flop about helplessly on land, just like a Blipper would. Mamatee has a fairly high amount of [[health]], and as such takes a few hits to take out. Essentially, it serves the same role in the water as [[Grandy]] does on land.
