Dark Crafter changes up his bomb-throwing wave patterns every time he is hit, with the last waves being particularly numerous and difficult to dodge, as well as there being less stars to pick up. While it is generally unsafe for Kirby to try and use his Star Dash on Dark Crafter while he is tossing bombs, there are moments where Dark Crafter has to take a short break, and tries to spin to boost speed instead.
