Heavy Lobster is a boss and the Halberd's security guard in KSS KFP and Kirby Super Star Ultra. Its strategy is running, walking, and clopping out unknown red goop that gives Kirby the Paint Copy Ability, miniature versions of itself (similar to Heavy Mole), and flames.
Heavy Lobster is a large, golden, mechanical, lobster-like boss most notable for his role protecting the Halberd in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra. Equipped with rocket boosters and flamethrowers, he has the ability to charge through walls and deploy miniature versions of himself (similar to Heavy Mole). Additionally, Heavy Lobster can shoot out a goopy substance that gives Kirby the Paint Copy Ability which can be used to blind Heavy Lobster. In Kirby Super Star Ultra, a more resilient silver variant of Heavy Lobster serves as the boss of the Mekkai stage in Milky Way Wishes.

Heavy Lobster is fought twice in Revenge of Meta Knight. In his first encounter, Heavy Lobster is deployed by the Halberd's crew to stop Kirby from infiltrating the rocket valve of the Halberd. This first battle is cut short by the Halberd taking off, which blows both Kirby and Heavy Lobster away, destroying Heavy Lobster in the process. In the second encounter, Heavy Lobster is again deployed to stop Kirby, this time in the Halberd's cabin. This encounter begins with a chase sequence in which Heavy Lobster pursues Kirby through the ship, causing destruction to parts of the ship, much to the crew's dismay. The chase concludes with Heavy Lobster jumping up to engage Kirby in a standard boss battle. When defeated, the resulting explosion of Heavy Lobster causes the right wing of the Halberd to be destroyed. During this second fight, if Kirby uses the Paint ability, he can blind Heavy Lobster, rendering him unable to aim accurately. The crew of the Halberd will comment on this in dismay, in an exchange that can be considered an Easter egg.

Hence its name, it is a golden, heavy machine, that resembles a lobster. It has wing-like projections on top, which do not seem to serve a purpose; green (when not aggressive) and red (when aggressive) eyes; and a booster on the back. Heavy Lobster is not always gold. In all battles off the Halberd, Heavy Lobster is silver, and when Kirby uses the paint ability on it, Heavy Lobster turns red. Its eye also gets covered with paint, so it attacks randomly instead of targeting Kirby.
Heavy Lobster is also fought in Milky Way Wishes, where he appears as the boss of Mekkai. He also appears as one of the boss battles in The Arena.

Game appearances
In Kirby Super Star Ultra, a number of changes are made to the fights against Heavy Lobster. Notably, he is given a unique battle theme. During his second battle in Revenge of Meta Knight, the background wall is now destroyed upon Heavy Lobster's entrance, revealing the setting of the fight to take place in a bomb bay. This detail likely explains why the explosion of Heavy Lobster is able to take out the entire right wing of the Halberd. In Milky Way Wishes, his battle on Mekkai is changed to be more distinct from his second battle in Revenge of Meta Knight. In this revamped battle, he is now silver, has increased health, and is fought in a factory making more Heavy Lobsters.

Heavy Lobster is fought twice in Revenge of Meta Knight. The first battle is interrupted by the Halberd taking off, but Heavy Lobster is fought and defeated later. His explosion knocks off the Halberd's left wing. During the second fight with Heavy Lobster, if Kirby uses the Paint ability, he can blind the beast, making it unable to aim properly. The crew of the Halberd will comment on this in dismay, in an exchange that can be considered an easter egg.

Heavy Lobster is fought a third time in Milky Way Wishes, but this time he is silver. The background of his battle shows a factory making more Heavy Lobsters. In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Heavy Lobster's battles in The Arena and Helper to Hero are identical to his battle in Milky Way Wishes.
In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Heavy Lobster also appears on a card in Kirby Card Swipe. He also appears as a boss in Helper to Hero in a battle identical to his battle in Milky Way Wishes. His battles in Revenge of Meta Knight and Milky Way Wishes are repeated in Meta Knightmare Ultra.

Oddly, in Meta Knightmare Ultra, Meta Knight fights his own robot.

Heavy Lobster serves as the third boss in the Sub-Game Kirby Brawlball. His attack patterns are similar to those in Kirby Super Star with a few modifications. Rather than spewing fire out of his claws, Heavy Lobster instead shoots bullets that burst into flames upon hitting the ground. Additionally, he fires three paint blobs at a time instead of one, which splatter and obscure the screen if hit. Furthermore, instead of launching Mini Lobsters through his claws like in previous appearances, Heavy Lobster now deploys them through his mouth. Alongside Mini Lobsters, Heavy Lobster also launches tracking missiles through his mouth. A Wheelie is present at the bottom of the arena, serving as an additional obstacle.

Heavy Lobster is largely the same in terms of appearance and size as it is in the games. Its powers are slightly different, however, as it attacks mainly by shooting explosive laser blasts from its claws and melting walls with its heat ray. Unlike in the games, Heavy Lobster is not defeated using the Paint ability, but the Ice ability instead.
Heavy Lobster's appearance and size in the episode are largely consistent with its representation in the games. However, its powers vary slightly, as it primarily attacks by shooting explosive laser blasts from its claws and melting walls with its heat ray, abilities not present in the games.
