Gigant Chicks

The Gigant Chicks[1] are Mid-Bosses from Kirby: Triple Deluxe. They are fought using the Hypernova ability.
The chicks each resemble a large spherical bird with wide wings and pea-shaped yellow eyes. Each one is of a different colTemplate:Or and bears a bowtie of a certain colTemplate:Or. They attack by flying around and firing Air Pellets, (similar to the ones used by Whispy or Flowery). To defeat them, Kirby must hit them with a turnip (known formally as a Mandola Root[2]) that sprouts out of the ground by inhaling it with his Hypernova ability. They battle one at a time, the order of which is specified in the table below.

2 | The second blue chick can fire two puffs at a time and will occasionally fly between the sides. |

3 | The third purple chick has much more erratic flying patterns, and will fly whenever it is not puffing out three puffs in succession. When defeated, it hits the screen, unlike the others. |
When defeated, the chicks lose their bodily feathers and plummet to the ground. They are only encountered in two locations, Stage 1 of Old Odyssey and Stage EX 2 of Royal Road.
