King Dedede's Theme: Difference between revisions

m
If the last edit is going to be keep, I think it looks better this way: The "obscure" part shouldn't be stated as DDD has been associated with Gourmet Race, which isn't obscure at all. And I think that this looks better without the "more than once". If Gourmet Race isn't took into account, and/or "more than once" generally fits better, let me know.
m (Let me know if this is unnecessary and/or messy within the sentence.)

"King Dedede's Theme", also known as the "Tower of Midbosses" theme, or just "Dedede's Theme" for short, is a musical piece composed by Jun Ishikawa, which first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land. The theme is, as the name implies, King Dedede's theme, though this was not strictly the case until later in the Kirby series, as Dedede has been associated with other obscure themes more than once in the past. It's one of the most well-known songs from the series, and it often appears alongside the Gourmet Race theme. It has reappeared in many titles since Kirby's Dream Land, with several changes, rearrangements, and remixes along the way; it has also appeared outside of the video games, such as in the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert and The Sound of Kirby Café 2.

The theme's leitmotif consists of two sections, though the second of which didn't make an appearance until KSS KFP. The original first-section version in Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Dream Land 2 has a higher key than most later iterations, which are based on the full version in KSS KFP.
