Elieel is a creature debuting in Kirby's Dream Land 2. It resembles a long, dark blue eel with a white underbelly and a pair of small fins. It is usually seen hiding in containers like pipes or jars. It only appears as a proper enemy in Kirby's Dream Land 2, since in its other main appearance in Kirby's Dream Land 3, it is one of the creatures that Kirby receives a Heart Star from instead.
Game appearances[edit]
Kirby's Dream Land 2[edit]
Elieels make their first appearance as uncommon enemies in Kirby's Dream Land 2, where they are first seen in Ripple Field. These foes hide in pipes and, more rarely, blocks, emerging when Kirby approaches them. Colliding with one causes Kirby or his Animal Friend to lose health. After a set time, they slide back into their hiding spot, though some unexpectedly jump out towards Kirby instead. Elieels can be defeated with any attack and yield no ability when inhaled and swallowed.
Locations[edit]
Elieel can be found in the following levels and stages:

Kirby's Toy Box[edit]
Four Elieels are present in the Kirby's Toy Box - Pinball mini-game, where they hide in a side lane.
Kirby's Dream Land 3[edit]
- Main article: Where's the eel?
In Kirby's Dream Land 3, an Elieel appears as the operator of a mini-game in the third stage of Ripple Field, although it is simply referred to as "the eel" in the game's manual.[1] It emerges from one of five vases, then proceeds to repeatedly disappear again and reappear from a different vase more and more quickly, while Gordos pop out of the remaining jars. The goal of the mini-game is to pick the pot which the Elieel has last appeared from once it stops changing locations. Finding the eel three times prompts it to award Kirby a Heart Star at the end of the stage.
Elieel's mini-game also appears as part of MG-5.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]
In Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Elieel appears as a collectible keychain. The keychain uses Elieel's sprite from Kirby's Dream Land 2, and depicts it poking out of a pipe.
