Another theme with a similar melody appears in this title as well: the [[Peanut Plains (theme)|Peanut Plains theme]].

A version of the Gourmet Race theme in a higher key appears in a few [[stage]]s in ''[[Kirby's Dream Land 3]]'', first appearing in [[Sand Canyon - Stage 2]].

In the first ''[[Super Smash Bros.]]'' game, an arrangement of the Gourmet Race theme (titled "Dream Land Stage") is used for the [[Dream Land]] stage. It is similar to the original version, though with somewhat different instrumentation. It is arranged by Hirokazu Ando.

An arrangement of the Gourmet Race theme is used for the [[100-Yard Hop]] [[Sub-Game]] in ''[[Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards]]''.

In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', a slower-paced orchestral version of the Gourmet Race theme with a much more dramatic tone, titled "[[Fountain of Dreams (theme)|Fountain of Dreams]]", is used in the [[Fountain of Dreams]] stage. It can also play in the [[Green Greens]] stage in Adventure Mode and is one of [[Kirby]]'s credits themes. It is arranged by [[Tadashi Ikegami]]. This version returned in several other games, both in the ''Kirby'' and ''Super Smash Bros.'' series.

In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', a heavy metal version of the Gourmet Race theme appears under the name "Gourmet Race". It can play in the [[Halberd]] stage, and it is also used in [[smashwiki:Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary|Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary]] when fighting the false versions of Kirby, [[Meta Knight]], King Dedede, and [[smashwiki:Captain Olimar|Olimar]] in The Great Maze. It is arranged by [[wikipedia:Motoi Sakuraba|Motoi Sakuraba]]. A brief portion of the song is also included in the arrangement of "[[The Legendary Air Ride Machine]]" by Shogo Sakai.

In ''[[Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition]]'', the Gourmet Race theme is heard when selecting two of the games in the [[Kirby's History]] mode:

In addition, the Paint Panic version also has a chance of playing during the [[Normal Challenge]] of Last Land in the [[New Challenge Stages]] mode, and, in the North American release only, the player can choose to hear an orchestral medley of the Gourmet Race theme and the [[Green Greens (theme)|Green Greens theme]] at the final stop (representing the year 2012) of Kirby's History. This version somewhat resembles the version heard in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'', mainly the intro.

The 100-Yard Hop version of the Gourmet Race theme from ''Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards'' is reused in ''[[Kirby Fighters Deluxe]]'' for the first part of the [[Team DDD]] battle in the Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties.

In ''[[Kirby and the Rainbow Curse]]'', the Gourmet Race theme is the second song featured in the unlockable [[Jukebox/Kirby and the Rainbow Curse|Music Room]] track '''"Kirby Medley"'''. This track can be unlocked by collecting one of the [[Treasure Chest]]s found in the [[Burning Secrets]] stage.

In ''[[Kirby: Planet Robobot]]'', the theme "[[Sky-High and Smitten]]", used in certain stages of [[Rhythm Route]], is a loose arrangement of the Gourmet Race theme in a funky jazz fusion style. It is arranged by Jun Ishikawa.<ref name="pr"/>

In ''[[Kirby Fighters 2]]'', the [[Gourmet Go Go]] Battle Stage reuses the "Crazy Mischief in the Stars" arrangement of the theme from ''Kirby Star Allies'', but features a new version of the Corn Hall theme as its secret song instead of the main "Gourmet Race" theme.

A brand-new arrangement of the Gourmet Race theme also has a chance of playing on any [[Battle Royale (Kirby's Dream Buffet)|Battle Royale]] stage. This arrangement is also included alongside "I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball!" and "[[On a Fun Drive with You]]" in the medley that plays during the [[staff credits]].

The ''[[harddrop: Tetris 99|Tetris 99]]'' theme based on ''Kirby's Dream Buffet'' includes two of the game's arrangements of the Gourmet Race theme: the Battle Royale arrangement is used along with "[[Rolling-Quartet Jazz Band]]" when 50-11 players are left, while "Kirby's Ultra-Gourmet Memories" is used on the results screen after coming in 1st place.

The Gourmet Race theme has been performed live several times by orchestras, most prominently in the [[Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert]] as part of the ''Kirby Super Star Medley''. It also appeared in the [[Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival]] as part of the ''Go Go! Kirby Race Medley'' (along with "[[Pink Ball Activate!|Outlaw Driver]]", "[[Welcome to Wondaria (theme)|Circuit Speedway]]", "[[Top Ride: Grass]]", and "[[City Trial: City]]").

The theme was also featured in [[The Sound of Kirby Café]], in ''Track 3: Gourmet! Carnival / Gourmet Race''. Unlike the original theme, the whole song is in major key instead of just the final segment.
