Although released for the same system as the original ''Kirby's Dream Land'', ''Kirby's Dream Land 2'' was designed with the [[Super Nintendo Entertainment System#Super Game Boy|Super Game Boy]] adapter cartridge for the [[Super Nintendo Entertainment System]]  in mind.
