The automatic tour is guided by a cheery woman who explains the nature of [[Fecto Elfilis|ID-F86]] and Lab Discovera. When ID-F86 originally arrived to the planet, it began a devastating invasion before the previous inhabitants captured it for experimentation, thus halting the invasion before it worsened. The researchers of Lab Discovera studied ID-F86's spatial teleportation abilities in order to learn how to utilize it for their own technologies. 30 years after this point, an incident involving the experimentation of ID-F86's abilities caused [[Elfilin]] to split from it and escape the lab while ID-F86 was kept under permanent stasis for an unknown duration until Kirby's arrival.

**"ID-F86" is a reference to [[HAL Laboratory]], as 86 can be read as "HAL" in Japanese (though it is pronounced more traditionally as "hachi-roku" in this case).
