"Ending Demo"[1] is the ending cutscene theme from Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. It was composed by Hirokazu Ando.

Composition

The heroes return home for a good night's sleep.

"Ending Demo" is a sweet and peaceful theme in C-sharp (D-flat) major and 4/4. Its intro begins with sparkling swaying harmonies between A and F-sharp major. These are soon joined by a steady bassline. The melody comes in with this background. Its intonations are closely tied to "Vegetable Valley" and other tracks' melodies, avoiding tonic itself, and featuring stepwise movement up and a jump by a larger interval. The bassline and accompaniment support the melody with short phrases of similar character. The melody transitions to the second section, where it gradually falls down large intervals such as perfect fifths or minor sixths. It finishes on an elongated C-sharp and slowly fades away while the bass and accompaniment renew their swaying phrases, now in C-sharp G-sharp major. This goes on for a while until they also fade.
