(→Game appearances: Well, you see the thing, Nightmare didn’t necessarily play as the big bad. King Dedede was initially the big bad and Nightmare only made his appearance as a surprise character. We can’t discourage others from using overarching antagonist roles because there can be others who drives the plot until the end, the true culprit gets revealed.
