'''Dark Star''' is the final realm in ''[[Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards]]'', and it is here where Kirby's mission to vanquish the realm of [[Dark Matter (cloud)|Dark Matter]] ends. The prerequisite to reach this star is to locate all of the scattered [[Crystal Shard]]s from across the realm, and [[Miracle Matter]], the boss of the [[Ripple Star]], must be defeated. While defeating Miracle Matter will superficially rid the realm of Dark Matter, the [[Queen]] at the helm of the government on [[Pop Star (Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards)|Pop Star]] will still be affected by the exploits of [[0²]], the source of the Dark Matter located at the core of the Dark Star. By using the power of the Crystal Shards, Zero Two is defeated and peace returns to the entire realm, including that of Ripple Star.
