A '''Stage''' is typically defined as an individual playable portion of a [[level]]. In the [[Kirby (series)|''Kirby'' series]], almost all levels are sub-divided into three or more stages (four if the [[boss]] stage is counted), which can be accessed from the [[Level hub|level's hub area]] or simply played in sequence. In almost all cases, stages are where the gameplay of any given ''Kirby'' game takes place, and several [[Sub-Game]]s will tend to also be divided into stages (though these will not be covered on this page).
