*On the official [[Kirby JP Twitter]] feed, [https://twitter.com/Kirby_JP/status/1127408091132121093 an illustration] was posted for Mother's Day which features Mamatee in the lower-left corner. This image may be taken to suggest that Mamatees are the mothers of Blippers, though it does not conclusively account for all Mamatees.
**Additionally, going from the suggestion in this image, it could be speculated that the name "Mamatee" is a portmanteau of "mama" and "manatee".
